About Duke Kunshan University
Duke Kunshan University (DKU), located in Kunshan City, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, is a non-profit, Sino-US joint university founded by Duke University and Wuhan University in China.
The university was approved by the Ministry of Education in September 2013 and welcomed its first students in the fall of 2014. It welcomed its first undergraduate students in the fall of 2018.
DKU is bordered by Shanghai to the east and Suzhou to the west. It is easily accessible by highway and high-speed rail. Shanghai is just ten minutes away by high-speed rail.
The 200-acre campus is equipped with state-of-the-art classroom and conference facilities, library resources, student and faculty housing, dining and recreational facilities.
