About Jianghan University

Jianghan University, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a comprehensive university with a provincial and municipal system of operation.

In October 2001, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the new Jianghan University based on the merger of the four universities. In September 2021, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) approved the construction of the State Key Laboratory of Fine Blasting under the auspices of Jianghan University.

As of November 2021, the university covers a total area of 1,960 mu, with a building area of nearly 720,000 square meters; has 22 teaching units, offering 77 undergraduate majors; has 1 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization point, 9 first-level discipline master’s degree authorization points, and 11 master’s professional degree authorization categories; has 1,270 full-time faculty members, including 200 senior and 504 associate senior; has more than 300 international students. As of December 2018, the university has eight affiliated hospitals, namely Wuhan Sixth Hospital, Wuhan Central Hospital, Wuhan Puai Hospital, Wuhan Children’s Hospital, Wuhan Fifth Hospital, Wuhan Huangpi District People’s Hospital, the Third People’s Hospital of Hubei Province, and Jiangda Dental Hospital. 1. Overall the hardware is great, there are greenery and water, flowers and grass teaching buildings are equipped with elevators, classrooms and canteens are air-conditioned. The school also has Lawson, Guming Milk Tea, Yiho Tang, Shu also, you can find many good food stores, across the street there are tea places like Starbucks, KFC, McDonald’s and so on can fully meet the needs of individuals. Badminton and table tennis halls, library and gym can be used at will.

Cafeteria, there are currently five cafeterias, each cafeteria has two floors, there is also a cafeteria is under construction, the food prices are very reasonable, about 10 yuan you can eat very well.

2. I came to JHUN after failing the college entrance examination, and I didn’t have much expectation. But the day I came to report, my first impression: the school is so big! Greening is really good! Lotus flowers are beautiful.

I know you are all curious about food! There are five cafeterias in the school, so you don’t have to worry about food, you can find something that suits your taste! The third, fourth, and fifth cafeterias are in the north area, and the first and second cafeterias are in the south area. The second cafeteria is the best decorated, the second cafeteria’s drop cake, the third cafeteria’s chicken casserole, the fourth cafeteria’s tinfoil barbecue, the fifth cafeteria’s hibiscus chicken these are my favorite. And the price in the school are also very reasonable, the price is much cheaper than outside.

JHUN is also very rich! Because of the money, the school spends a lot of money to hire a lot of good teachers. The teachers who have taken my classes this year are all very responsible, they really help you from all aspects, give you all kinds of resources, and are really sincere to the students, and I will be very sad when I really have to finish the course.

When it comes to scenery, you have to mention the greenway! If you ride a bicycle at a moderate speed, it takes about 30 minutes to ride the whole course (mainly for viewing). It’s very comfortable and I like to ride my bike along the greenway when I’m not doing anything, it’s a great way to calm down. In addition, biking is a must-have skill. The school has a lot of shared bikes and is a large area, so if you don’t ride a bike, it’s really tiring.

First of all, I can only say that JNU is very rich. My classmates they also know this, why, because the school’s annual funding budget is more than one billion or even two billion, and in 2019 also exceeded the budget of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, I am really surprised. So many of the school’s facilities are great. The triangular lake is cleaned and packed with weeds every year, and the school has a lot of scholarships.

Then the school has five canteens, because there are a lot of good food, I personally live in the South District, there are two canteens, No. 1 and No. 2 canteens, both have very good and very good food. Cafeteria, I am personally a foodie, I recommend the No. 2 cafeteria ravioli, spicy hot pot and roast pork rice. 1 cafeteria of the second floor of the small fry is very good. 3 cafeteria pot rice is also very good.

The campus environment of Jianghan University is really great, that is, after dinner, go to the playground or the lake to take a walk, blowing the evening breeze, very leisurely. I’m from the business school, teacher, anyway, the teachers in our program are particularly good, very responsible, although there is only one male teacher, but they are great, write thesis, my mentor is very responsible, often call to communicate.
