About Wuxi Vocational Institute of Commerce
Wuxi Vocational Institute of Commerce is a provincial government-run university mainly for training high-quality technical skills talents in modern service industry. The institute is a model higher vocational college in Jiangsu Province.
The institute was founded in 1965. In December 2019, it was listed by the Ministry of Education as the fourth type of high-level professional group construction unit (C grade).
The university has three campuses in Jiulong, Yaowan and Xihui, with 15 teaching colleges, 4 applied undergraduate majors and 41 specialist majors; there are 484 full-time teachers and nearly 13,000 full-time students.
