Job Description
Qiqihar University is a public provincial comprehensive institution of higher learning in Heilongjiang Province and located around the lake, Which enjoys the reputation of “beautiful university around the lake” . There are 23 colleges in the university, we would like to recruit foreign teachers of English.
Responsibilities
- 1. Participate in teachers’ training.
- 2. Oral English teaching for English majors.
- 3. Cooperative teaching of interpreting courses for English majors.
- 4. Participate in and guide students’ second-class activities, such as English speaking, debate, morning reading, English corner, etc.
- 5. 14 class hours per week (50 minutes per class hour), and about 224 class hours per semester.
- 6. More than RMB10,000 for foreign teachers of English from native-speaking countries with intermediate or higher professional title.
Qualification
- 1. Under 59 years old, in good health.
- 2. No bad records or criminal records.
- 3. Bachelor degree or above, native English speakers with education, linguistics and literature are highly preferred.
- 4. Relevant work experience (with TEFL, TESOL and CELTA certificates, the work experience requirement can be exempted), especially translation (interpretation) teaching experience.
- 5. A letter of recommendation from the previous job or a letter of recommendation from referees.
