About the School:
School of International Studies (SIS) has 19 professors and 48 associate professors, while 90 percent of its faculty members have master or doctor’s degrees and every faculty member has overseas studying or training experiences.
SIS is now trying its utmost to train qualified foreign language personnel to serve the country. It is also committed to meeting the demand of our society, the world and the future, and endeavors to use every effective teaching system, method and program for this purpose.
It has established a set of complete, scientific, and advanced curriculum system in Business English, and has a unique, rationally structured and comprehensively strong teaching team, which has enabled the school to stand in an advance and forefront position in China. Business English Translation is another distinctive feature of the School. The Interpreter Training Centre plays an important role in maintaining UIBE’s forefront position in translation and interpretation in China.

School of International Studies (SIS) of University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) is recruiting English faculty positions.
Job Description:
Candidates should show a commitment to teaching English and academic courses to undergraduate and graduate students in the following fields:
- Cross-cultural communication
- Cultural studies of English-speaking countries
- Linguistics Studies
- English and American Literature
- Interpretation and translation
- English listening, speaking, reading and writing

Qualifications:
Applicants should meet the following:
- Native English speaker
- Holder of a master or doctoral degree from a university outside China
- Being able to work full time
- Legal working permission
- Demonstration of teaching excellence
- Other: At least 2 years’ teaching experience; TEFL/TESOL qualification for language course applicants and relevant professional working experience for academic course applicants are highly appreciated.
