PI Introduction
Dr. Yonghua Zhao’s main research is in the area of electro physical and chemical science and engineering as applied to precision and micro/nano manufacturing. His research encompasses electrochemical micro/nano machining, electrical discharge machining, plasma processing and hybrid-field precision and extreme manufacturing technologies for vital engineering applications like micro/nano components, semiconductor wafers, biomedical and ultimate-application devices. As the principle investigator (PI), Dr. Zhao independently presided over 8 competitive scientific research projects, including the National Key R&D Program for Young Scientists. Dr. Zhao has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers in top SCI journals, such as Int. J. Mach. Tool. Manu., J. Mater. Process. Technol. He serves as a young editorial board member of “Results In Engineering” and a review expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Job Recruitment
According to the research needs of our group, we are now recruiting 2 postdoctoral fellows and 2 research assistants at home and abroad. An educational background in mechanics, manufacturing, materials, physical chemistry or research experience in intelligent manufacturing and micro-nano manufacturing is preferred. Postdoctoral fellows can apply for the Shenzhen Peacock Program and housing subsidies for talents. You can join at any time (the recruitment is valid for a long time).
Application Condition:
(1) Under the age of 35, the general doctoral degree should not exceed 3 years;
(2) Be keen on scientific research, abide by academic ethics, have a strong sense of responsibility and enterprising spirit, and be good at teamwork;
(3) Possess innovative thinking and independent problem-solving ability;
(3) More than 2 representative papers that can reflect the accumulation of knowledge and skills in manufacturing research;
(4) Interested in research work related to advanced manufacturing.

Annual Salary:
Postdoctoral fellows are employed for two years, with an annual salary of 330,000 yuan. Excellent candidates can apply for the President’s Excellent Postdoctoral Fellow, with an annual salary of more than 500,000 yuan. (Including living allowances in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City).
