Recruitment of Foreign English Teachers

Nankai University is a well-known university in China, founded in 1919, located in Tianjin, one of the four municipalities directly under the Central Government in China. The College of Foreign Languages originated from the four disciplines of English, German, French and Japanese established in the commencing year of Nankai University, and has a history of more than 100 years. Now, the college has 10 language disciplines (English, Russian, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, and Translation), 1 department of public foreign language teaching, and 7 research centers.

In order to further improve the students’ intercultural communication ability, and strengthen the practical teaching of professional English, we are recruiting foreign language teachers whose native language is English from all over the world.

I. Conditions and Requirements

1. Foreign teachers from the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries who speak English as their mother tongue and have a master’s degree or above.

2. Academic Fields: culture of English-speaking countries, British and American literature, English linguistics, English teaching, translation studies, regional and national studies, and other humanities and social science research fields.

3. Under the age of 58.

II.Remunerations

Standard salary for the foreign teachers offered by Nankai University. In addition, the related personnel will enjoy the scientific research achievement subsidies provided by the college, which will cover monographs, papers, translations, and joint successful declaration of scientific research projects.
