About
The Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases of Xiamen University School of Medicine is a newly established research institution with an area of 1500m2. It is located in the Cardiovascular Hospital of Xiamen University, adjacent to Wuyuanwan Wetland Park. It has 6 research laboratories (vascular biology research laboratory, cardiac biology research laboratory). Scientific research room, regenerative medicine research room, cell therapy research room, precision medicine research room, translational medicine research room) and 2 technical support platforms (model animal center, bioinformatics and biotechnology center). The Institute has purchased advanced instruments and equipment, and built a domestically advanced and world-class biomedical research technology platform, including a stem cell and cell biology research platform, a bioimaging center, a high-throughput sequencing and nucleic acid drug development platform, and molecular biology Test platform and SPF animal room and animal experiment platform.
The Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases has a solid research foundation in a variety of disciplines. The institute combines the characteristics of “transformation” and “precision” to clarify important life activities from ontogeny to tissue aging, from cell renewal to cell death.
