I. About the School
Nanjing University Business School (NJUBS) originated from the business discipline of Sanjiang Normal College in 1902. During the nationwide restructuring of universities and colleges in 1952, the Department of Economics and Management of Nanjing University were merged into other universities and colleges. In 1978, Nanjing University resumed Department of Economics and established the Department of Management in 1986. In 1988, the International Business School of Nanjing University was formally established, which was renamed Nanjing University Business School in 2000.
NJUBS is a comprehensive business school consisting of two broad disciplines, namely economics and management. Currently, the school has eight departments: Economics, International Economics and Trade, Finance and Insurance, Industrial Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing and Electronic Commerce, and Human Resource Management. It also houses several research institutes, including the Population Research Institute.
NJUBS boasts an internationally renowned faculty, offers a comprehensive range of degree programs covering undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral education, and provides first-class facilities and administrative support for teaching and scientific research. The school has earned numerous top-notch academic honors and recognition in recent years. The discipline of Theoretical Economics at NJUBS has been selected as a National First-Class Discipline Construction Unit. The majors of Economics, International Trade, Finance, Financial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Electronic Commerce, Financial Management, and Marketing have been selected into the list of National First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites. The School offers 11 undergraduate programs, 17 master’s degree programs, 3 doctoral degree programs, and 3 areas for post-doctoral studies.NJUBS boasts the largest undergraduate and postgraduate student body within Nanjing University. In the fifth China Discipline Ranking (CDR), NJUBS has made significant progress in various disciplines, among which Business Administration and Theoretical Economics have been listed in the top tier. Currently, it has a total of 175 faculty members, including 2 Distinguished Professors of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, 7 Cheung Kong Scholars of Ministry of Education, 1 winner of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and 6 professors who were shortlisted for “Four Youth Talent Plans”. The school achieved the AACSB Accreditation in 2013.
NJUBS adheres to the philosophy that talents are the foundation of the school and places great importance on the development of its faculty body. It’s one of the schools that pioneers the implementation of the annual salary system and tenure-track system in Nanjing University.
II. Positions
NJUBS plans to recruit young scholars who aspire to have a career in the fields of economics and management studies. There are 2 openings at the level of tenure-track associate professor and 4 at the level of tenure-track assistant professor. The candidates are expected to teach and research in the following (but not limited to) areas:

(6) Business Administration (including Strategic Management, International Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, Operations Management, etc.)
(7) Accounting and Financial Management (including Corporate Finance)
(8) Marketing, Electronic Commerce
(9) Human Resource Management (including Strategic Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior)
III. Qualifications
(1) Applicants should obey the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and love education and scientific research;
(2) Applicants should follow the codes of professional ethics and academic integrity as educators and scholars and be diligent. Applicants should have no criminal records and have received no punishment for professional ethics and academic integrity violations;
(3) Applicants should have top-level academic backgrounds, expected to have obtained doctoral degrees in the relevant fields, have studying and/or working experience at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and be familiar with the cutting-edge scientific research around the globe;
(4) Applicants are expected to be skilled in teaching the core basic courses and frontier courses of their fields with suitable teaching methods and outstanding oral expression;
(5) Applicants are expected to have distinguished research results and the potential for future development in scientific research. Applicants should have well-recognized results and original ideas in their research fields and have clear ideas for future research plans and good potential in academic research.

V. Compensation Package and Support
A successful applicant will be provided with:
(1) Competitive salaries: annual salaries will be commensurate with work experience and research performance;
(2) Competitive startup packages: all newly hired tenure-track faculty members will be provided sufficient startup resources and necessary research infrastructures;
(3) Quotas to supervise doctoral and master students (Qualification will be finally evaluated and approved by Nanjing University);
