The School of International Studies of Gansu University of Political Science and Law offers majors in English (with a concentration in Legal English) and Translation (with a concentration in Legal Translation). In 2022, the English (with a concentration in Legal English) major was approved as a first-class undergraduate program in Gansu Province.
The school currently has 56 faculty members, including 48 professional lecturers and 1 international faculty member. 7 faculty members have doctoral degrees, 6 are currently pursuing doctoral degrees, and 6 are supervisors for master’s programs. Many faculty members have studied abroad in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, France, and Australia.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a similar field.
- Special training in language teaching and some experience in language teaching, or have more than two years of teaching experience.
- Have a TESOL or TEFL certificate.
