About Hanshan Normal University
Hanshan Normal University, a well-established institution in Guangdong Province with a history spanning over a century, is dedicated to advancing global education. It builds on a rich heritage from “Hanshan Academy” (founded in 1090) and now offers diverse programs, with a strong focus on internationalization to broaden students’ global horizons.
The university has forged solid international collaboration, partnering with over 51 institutions across 14 countries (e.g., South Korea, Japan, Germany, Australia) and regions like Hong Kong and Taiwan. These partnerships enable student exchange programs (such as semester-long studies in South Korea) and faculty mobility, letting teachers collaborate on research and share teaching practices globally.
To enrich its academic environment, Hanshan Normal University has recruited a diverse team of over 30 international faculty members. Coming from various countries, these educators teach specialized courses, introduce cutting-edge global theories, and guide cross-cultural research projects.
