About Jingdezhen University
Jingdezhen University is a public multi-disciplinary full-time general undergraduate university founded in 1977, located in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province – the world-famous “Millennium Porcelain Capital”. Officially recognized by the Education Department of Jiangxi Province, it moved to the Fuliang new campus in September 2019, which covers an area of 2028 mu with a construction area of 320,000 square meters.
The university has 28 undergraduate majors spanning 8 disciplines including engineering, science, literature, and art, with ceramic art as its dominant specialty. It currently has nearly 10,000 full-time students enrolled from 29 provinces across China, supported by 465 full-time and part-time faculty members (419 full-time and 92 external) with a student-to-faculty ratio of 20.92:1.
