Job Description
Guangzhou Maritime University invites applications for the position of English Language Teacher. We seek to appoint 3-5 professionals to join our institution. This position offers opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our students’ English language capabilities and their global cultural awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct spoken English courses aimed at developing students’ conversational proficiency and self-assurance.
- Deliver specialized Business English professional courses designed to prepare students for international career demands.
- Provide structured English training and individualized tutoring.
Essential Qualifications:
- Applicants must be native English speakers with clear and standard pronunciation.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. For candidates whose highest qualification is a Bachelor’s degree, at least one year of relevant teaching experience is required.
- A strong dedication to the field of education, a keen sense of professional responsibility, and an international perspective on teaching methodologies are indispensable.
- Experience in delivering Business English courses will be highly regarded.
- Possession of TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certifications is preferred.
Compensation Package:
- Annual salary of approximately 200,000 RMB, which includes basic salary, remuneration for classes taught, and housing allowance.
