English Teacher at Aba Teachers College

Aba Teachers College is seeking a qualified English teacher to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated professional to work with adult students aged 18-22 in a university setting.

Position and Responsibilities

• Schedule: This is a full-time position, with working days from Monday to Friday.
• Workload: Your teaching load will be a maximum of 16 classes per week, with each class lasting 45 minutes.
• Courses: You will teach a variety of courses, including Oral English and other related English classes. Teaching materials will be provided.
• Duties: Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing lessons and correcting homework.
  • Participating in meetings and interactive communication activities at the English Corner.
  • Delivering lectures and marking student papers.

Requirements

• Native English speaker.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher.
• A recognized teaching certificate, such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• You must have a clean criminal record.
• Candidates who are already in China with a transferable work permit are preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary (pre-tax):
  • 10,000 RMB per month for candidates with a bachelor’s degree.
  • 12,000 RMB per month for candidates with a master’s degree.
• Accommodation: A free, single-occupancy on-campus apartment is provided. You will be reimbursed for utilities up to 150 RMB.
• Airfare: A 10,000 RMB airfare allowance will be paid upon the successful completion of your contract.
• Insurance: Medical and accident insurance are provided.
• Holidays:
  • You will receive half pay during the winter and summer holidays.
  • You will receive full pay for all Chinese public holidays
