Job Description
The College Foreign Languages Teaching Department of Ocean University of China is committed to offering our international colleagues fascinating teaching as well as rewarding cross-cultural experiences. The department recruits English teachers on a yearly basis for both undergraduate and graduate programs. International teachers are offered a variety of courses based on their academic background and strengths, including Academic English Writing, Academic English speaking, Cross-cultural Communication, American History and Culture, in addition to the core courses such as Speaking, and Advanced English Writing.
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Master’s degree or above in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Teaching Certificate (TESOL, TEFL or others)
- Minimum 1 school-year commitment, 12-16 hours per week
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly salary from RMB 7,800 to RMB 8,800 (RMB 7,800 for master’s; RMB 8,800 for doctor’s)
- Round-trip international flight allowance every year (RMB 8,000 for Europe; RMB 10,000 for USA)
- Monthly apartment renting allowance RMB 1,500
- Yearly heating allowance RMB 2,100
- Medical insurance of RMB 1,680 per year.
