Basic requirements for long-term foreign languages teachers’ employment:
(1) Comply with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and the college rules and regulations, respect the traditions and customs of the Chinese nation, and be friendly to China.
(2) No legal disputes, no criminal records, no records of academic misconduct, no records of bad integrity, and no association with cult organizations.
(3) With good health Physically and mentally, good conduct, no criminal records, no history of infectious diseases and mental disorders, no sexual harassment, injecting drugs, long-term use of dependent psychotropic drugs or other Diseases and behaviors that may affect the safety and health of teachers and students. Generally not more than 60 years old.
(4) Qualifications for employment:
Teachers of disciplines (including the foreign language and literature majors) should have a bachelor’s degree or higher with more than 2 years of work experience in education and teaching or in relevant fields of disciplines;
Foreign language teachers should have a bachelor’s degree or above, should receive corresponding language teaching training, obtain the corresponding language training qualifications and generally engage in mother language teaching in the native country;
Foreign personnel who have obtained a doctor degree or posse a teacher qualification certificate from the country of nationality, or have a bachelor degree or above in education, may be exempted from the requirements of teaching experience.
