About School of Education

Established in 2020, the School of Education (SOE) in SJTU has a long history tracing back to 1897 when Nanyang College created the first teacher education program in China. SOE prepare future leading educators and scholars with solid academic training and rich apprenticeship experiences with degree programs of M.Sc., M.A., and Ph.D. in education. SOE is committed to the highest academic standards and professional integrity and emphasizes quantitative research and international comparison.

Besides its two flagship research centers: Center for World-Class Universities (CWCU) and Center for Student Achievement and Human Development (CSAHD), SOE is looking for both full-time professors and junior faculty members in domains including curriculum and instruction, school psychology and counseling, educational big-data and evaluation, and educational management and leadership, educational policy and practice, future education, and educational theories.
