The School of Foreign Languages at Jilin Agricultural University is now seeking dedicated and experienced English teachers to join our dynamic team.
1. Job Description
- Teach English courses to undergraduate students majoring in English in the School of Foreign Languages.
- Develop and implement effective teaching plans and curricula to meet the academic needs of students.
- Guide students in language learning, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation skills.
- Participate in teaching research, and departmental activities.
- The maximum teaching load is 18 class hours per week.
2. Requirements
- Nationality: Native English speakers from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand are preferred.
- Teaching Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English, preferably at the university level.
- Age: Applicants should be no more than 50 years old.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree or above in English, Linguistics, Education, or related fields. A teaching certificate or relevant educational qualifications are an advantage.
- Skills: Excellent English language proficiency, strong teaching skills, and the ability to engage students in the learning process.
3. Compensation and Benefits
The university offers a competitive salary package between 10,000 CNY to 13,000 CNY per month, a friendly working environment, and opportunities for professional development. There are two options regarding accommodation
- Option 1: On-campus accommodation provided for free
- Option 2: Off-campus living allowance: 2,000 CNY per month
