About Central South University

In 2017, the Metallurgical Engineering of Central South University was selected as a “Double First Rate” construction discipline, and was awarded an A+ discipline in the discipline evaluation. 1. Basic conditions of applicants
a. Supporting the leadership of the Communist Party of China, love CSU, abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, abide by academic ethics and teacher professional ethics, having a good academic development potential and teamwork spirit, and be physically and mentally healthy.
b. Having a good educational background and obtained a doctorate degree from a university or scientific research institution at home or abroad.
c. Having professional knowledge and academic standard qualifications required for teaching and research positions in the university.
2. Recruitment profession
Metallurgical engineering, chemistry, physics, new energy materials, materials engineering, environmental science and engineering, industrial process automation, etc.
3. Types of positions and main conditions
a. Leading talents in disciplines
The applicant must be academically exquisite and committed to major innovation and key technology research in the subject field, while have innovative thinking, important achievements recognized by domestic and foreign counterparts, the ability to organize and preside over major national scientific research projects and international cooperation projects, coordinate development plans, lead the discipline to catch up and maintain the advanced level at home and abroad. Generally, the age of the applicant should be below 50 years old.
b. Young innovative talents
The applicant must have excellent scientific research and technological innovation capabilities, active academic thinking, outstanding research results and important academic achievements, or research directions with important innovation prospects, and have the development potential to become an academic leader in related fields.
c. Outstanding young teacher
The applicant must have outstanding academic achievements and have great potential for development. The positions include appointed professor/ research associate, appointed associate professor/ research fellow and lecturer/assistant professor. The age of the applicant is generally no more than 32 years old, and maximum 6 years old could be extended for those who are particularly outstanding.
d. Full-time postdoctoral fellow
The applicant, generally no more than 35 years old, must obtain a doctorate degree in a university or scientific research institution at home or abroad in the past three years, and achieve good research results during the doctoral study period.
4. Salary and welfare during the employment period
Salary and welfare will be offered to the hired scholars in accordance with the relevant university policies and regulations.
