About Gannan Normal University
Gannan Normal University (GNNU, Chinese: 赣南师范大学), located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is a first-class discipline construction university in Jiangxi Province, listed as a publicly funded teacher training university in Jiangxi Province, and is a host institution for Chinese Government Scholarship, International Chinese Teacher Scholarship, and Jiangxi Provincial Government Scholarship students.
GNNU was founded in June 1958. As of May 2021, the university has 3 campuses in Jinjin, Zhanggong and Baita (University Science and Technology Park), covering an area of more than 2,300 acres. The university has 18 teaching units, 1 independent college, 1 affiliated middle school, 2 affiliated elementary school, 1 affiliated kindergarten, and 70 undergraduate majors.
