Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology (LIT, Chinese: 洛阳理工学院) is located in Luoyang City, Henan Province, China, the ancient capital of China.
LIT was established in 1956. The university covers an area of 2,229 acres, with three campuses in Wangcheng, Kaiyuan and Jiudou. LIT has 14 colleges, two basic teaching departments and seven colleges of special education and industry, offering 55 undergraduate majors, with 1,787 faculty members and 28,300 full-time undergraduate and professional students.
