Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute is located in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, one of the Chinese cities which won the “United Nations Habitat Award”, and is situated in Yangzijin Science and Education Park in Yangzhou City.
With a long history, the university is a model higher vocational institution in Jiangsu Province and an advanced unit of vocational education in Jiangsu Province. In the comprehensive assessment of general higher vocational institutions in Jiangsu Province in 2019 and 2020, the university was ranked first, and won the excellent grade in the assessment of the leadership team of universities in 2020. “In 2015, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Yangzhou Municipal People’s Government signed an agreement to jointly support the university to develop to a higher level.
