Xi’an Peihua College, located in Xi’an, the birthplace of Chinese civilization, is the first private undergraduate college in the west of China approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China with the right to confer bachelor’s degrees. The predecessor of the university can be traced back to “Xi’an No.1 Women’s Civilian Vocational School”, which was organized by Shaanxi Women’s Vocational Education Promotion Association and approved by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education in 1928, and “Xi’an Peihua Women’s University”, which was the first general college in New China specializing in enrolling female students and carrying out women’s education, was resumed and established in 1984. Xi’an Peihua Women’s University was upgraded to a general undergraduate college and renamed Xi’an Peihua College (for both men and women) in 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, and became the first private college in the west with the right to confer bachelor’s degree in 2007. Due to the needs of the school’s work, we are recruiting full-time foreign teachers, and the specific job requirements are as follows:

Foreign teachers majoring in English

1. Basic job requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above (the highest degree should be certified by the embassy or consulate of the country where the degree is obtained);
• Candidates should be native English speakers or graduates of English language education related majors;
• Candidates must be under 60 years old, in good health, with no criminal record or bad habits;
• More than 2 years teaching experience, teaching qualifications, TEFL and TESOL certificates are preferred.

2. Job responsibilities:

• Undertake the teaching tasks of English conversation, English general reading, English and American literature, English debate, English speaking and other courses;
• Assist in participating in extracurricular activities tutoring for English majors’ teachers and students, thesis guidance, English corner, English lectures, student tournament guidance and other related work.

3. Salary:

• Monthly salary: 8500-10000 RMB (details can be negotiated)
• Provide housing subsidies, airfare allowance, medical insurance and other benefits..
