Requirements: The award-winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and the equivalent at the national level.
Remuneration and Benefits: (1) 800k CNY per year before tax plus high reward for additional research and teaching load. (2) Position: professor and doctoral supervisor. In addition to the research funds provided by the nation, the university also provides start-up funds for establishing related scientific research platforms (800k CNY for the selected candidate in Humanities and Social Sciences, 1~3 million for Science and Engineering). (3) 2 million of settling-in allowance (including the amount obtained from the national and local government). The university will help to arrange the spouse’s work and children’s schooling to attend pre-school and compulsory education. Requirements: (1) The selected candidate is generally not more than 45 years old (in Science and Engineering area) or 50 years old (Humanities and social sciences). (2) The selected candidate should have independent scientific research ability and stable research direction, who is active in academics with the potential to become an academic or technological leader in his/her respective field. (3) The award-winner of youth talent program / project at the national level.

High reward will be provided for additional research and teaching load. (2) Position: professor and doctoral supervisor. Requirements: The selected candidate is generally under the age of 35 (in Science and Engineering area) or 40 (Humanities and social sciences). In principle, they should have at least 2 years of academic working experience and meet one of the following two conditions:
(1) People who passed the peer-review of youth talent program / project at the national level. (2) Overseas candidates should be assistant professors from well-known universities and research institutes, or the equivalent experience and academic level.
Remuneration and Benefits: (1) 450k CNY per year before tax (including all remunerations from the talent allowance provided by the local government, and housing accumulation fund and social security fund paid by the university). High reward will be provided for additional research and teaching load. (2) Position: to be employed as professor and doctoral supervisor. Requirements: The selected candidate is generally under the age of 35 (in Science and Engineering area) or 40 (Humanities and social sciences). In principle, they should have at least 2 years of academic working experience and meet one of the following three conditions:
(1) Principle Investigator (top three) for the second prize or above of National Natural Science Award, National Technological Invention Award or National Science and Technology Progress Award; Principle Investigator (top one) for the first prize of Provincial or Ministerial Science and Technology Awards.
(2) Principle Investigator (top one) for the third prize or above of T-level achievement categorized by the discipline of Humanities and Social Sciences in the university; Principle Investigator (top one) for the second prize or above of Class B and above social science outstanding achievement award.
(3) 5 or more publications as most cited or hot papers of ESI (corresponding author or first author).

Requirements: The selected candidate should have doctor’s degree from well-known universities or research institutions at home and abroad, with high level academic achievements, which in the recent five years are higher than or basically reach the level of professors in the relevant disciplines of our university. He/ She is generally under the age of 45 (in Science and Engineering area) or 50 (Humanities and social sciences).
Remuneration and Benefits: Post-Performance-Wage; The settling-in allowance is 400~600k CNY; scientific research start-up funds: 600~1000k CNY (Science and Engineering), 200~400k CNY (Humanities and Social Sciences).
Associate professor
Requirements: The selected candidate should have doctor’s degree from well-known universities or research institutions at home and abroad, with good academic potentials, whose achievements after PhD graduation are higher than or basically reach the level of associate professors in the relevant disciplines of our university. He/ She is generally under the age of 35 (in Science and Engineering area) or 40 (Humanities and social sciences).
Remuneration and Benefits: Post-Performance-Wage; The settling-in allowance is 250k CNY; scientific research start-up funds: 200~300k CNY (Science and Engineering), 50~100k CNY (Humanities and Social Sciences).
Hongshen Young Faculty
Requirements: The selected candidate under the age of 35 should have doctor’s degree within three years, with an ability to do scientific research independently and a great potential for academic development.

Excellent candidates graduated from the world’s top 100 overseas high-level universities or high-end research institutes (based on the ARWU, QS, THE, USNEWS ranking of the year) or domestic universities within category A of discipline ranking, or their publication can meet the requirement for associate professors in the same disciplines.
Key supports:
Candidates graduated from well-known universities / research institutes at home and abroad with dominant discipline background.
Remuneration and Benefits: Incomings includes basic salary, rental subsidy, social security, provident fund and tutor support. Special supports: 370k-400k CNY/year, plus rewards for additional research load; Key supports: 270k-300k CNY/year, plus rewards for additional research load. The candidate selected for the National Boxin Program and the International Exchange Program will be subsidized additional 200k CNY.
Other welfare
(1) Eligible for apply for the qualification evaluation of university in the full-time scientific research series.
(2) 15k CNY will be provided by the university for attending the High-level International conference.
(3) Eligible for the same welfare and benefits as the tenured faculty and children of pre-school and compulsory education age can be arranged to attend kindergartens and schools affiliated to Chongqing University.

Requirements: The candidates should have doctor’s degree or the highest diploma in the relevant discipline from a well-known university or research institution at home and abroad, who is eligible to be a teacher with good academic potential and under the age of 30.
