Job Description
Shanghai University is one of the top 40 Chinese universities, top 100 Asian universities, and a member of China Project 211 Universities. It offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in various disciplines.
The School of Economics invites applicants for permanent/full-time positions. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Economics/Finance or a related discipline from a leading university.
ABDs must have completed their Doctorate at the time of appointment. The successful candidate should demonstrate interest and ability to conduct high quality research. Senior appointments are expected to assume a leadership role. Salaries are competitive, and will be commensurate with qualification.
Candidates for rank of associate/full professor must have demonstrated an excellent record in academic research and teaching.
Candidates for rank of lecturer/assistant professor level should have a Ph.D. at prestigious overseas institutions.
