Native English Teachers

Job Description

Beijing Sport University (Hainan International Campus) is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Native English Teachers to join our team and teach English for Academic Purposes and IELTS to undergraduates.

Responsibilities

• 1. Design and deliver effective and engaging English language courses for Academic Purposes and IELTS to undergraduates (10-16 regular teaching hours per week).
• 2. Develop lesson plans, materials, and assessments that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual students.
• 3. Check students’ assignments and provide regular feedback to students and maintain accurate records of their progress.
• 4. Flexible office hours are required to offer extra tutorials to students in need (6-8 classroom hours per week).
• 5. Organize and participate in extracurricular English learning activities for students.
• 6. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• 7. Other post-related responsibilities.

Requirements

• 1. No Criminal Record. Shall abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China.
• 2. Proficient native English speaker from a recognized English-speaking country (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.).
• 3. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, Linguistics, or related fields. Applicants who have received undergraduate education in English-speaking countries, regardless of major, are welcome to apply.”
• 4. TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification or equivalent.
• 5. Minimum of 2 years of university teaching experience (experience in teaching EAP or IELTS preferred). Exceptional candidates who meet the qualifications stated in the previous criteria may have the teaching experience requirement relaxed.”
• 6. Familiarity with the latest teaching methods and technologies.
