LEWI was established in 1993 with the aim to foster interdisciplinary social sciences and humanities research and cultivate collaborative scholarship between the East and the West.

Post-doctoral Research Fellow (PR0100/22-23)

We are seeking a Post-doctoral Research Fellow with a strong interest in the following areas: environmental governance, climate policy, or urban governance and development.

Responsibilities:
The appointee will work with the Acting Director, Dr. Kevin Lo (http://www.lokevin.com), to conduct high-quality and innovative research and apply for external competitive research grants.

Requirements:
The appointee should have a PhD in a social sciences field (geography, political science, sociology, etc.) and an outstanding publication record in top journals.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing in November 2022. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
