Hong Kong Baptist University has been awarded funding in relation to the Job Creation Scheme 3.0 under Anti-epidemic Fund 2.0 of the Government to create employment opportunities.

The International Office invites dynamic, high caliber and committed candidates who are creative and possess strategic thinking skills to join an energetic team to executive a wide range of impactful global teaching and learning initiatives.

1. Senior Project Executive
• Plan and drive Global Education@HKBU;
• Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders in the development of new initiatives;
• Organize large-scale events; and
• Perform other duties as required.

Global Education@HKBU aims to (i) enhance global branding, (ii) offer opportunities to faculty, students, industry and stakeholders worldwide working and developing projects together, (iii) develop innovative cultural immersion programmes, (iv) develop virtual exchange and virtual experiential learning initiatives, and (v) establish international consortia.

2. Project Executive
• Plan and introduce cultural diversity programmes;
• Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders in the development of new initiatives;
• Introduce new offerings under Global Student Mobility; and
• Perform other duties as required.

Cultural Diversity Programmes aim to (i) provide opportunities for HKBU students to gain multicultural understanding and international exposure, (ii) nurture HKBU students with global perspectives and international outlook, and (iii) promote an inclusive campus environment that appreciates diversity.

3. Project Executive
• Plan, promote and administer the Global Summer Institute;
• Ensure successful programme delivery;
• Cultivate relationship with overseas partners; and
• Perform other duties as required.

Global Summer Institute aims to (i) provide opportunities for students (inbound and outbound) with global mobility/innovation exchange opportunities, (ii) plan and organize cross-country trips, and (iii) promote scholarly work at HKBU and engage students in international activities on campus.

Applicants should be /possess:
• A recognized degree with strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills and an excellent command of written and spoken English;
• A self-starter with outgoing personality and positive attitude, able to work effectively with people of different cultures, enthusiastic about working with students, able to multitask, work independently and under pressure; and
• (For Post 1) At least five years of work experience in particular in event planning and management.
• (For Posts 2 and 3) At least three years of work experience, and (For Post 2) knowledge on multi-media application and hands-on experience in basic graphic design a definite advantage.

The Office may appoint candidates to positions different from what they have applied for to suit its operational needs.

The appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year.
