About University of Macau
The University of Macau (UM) is the first modern university in Macau, a founding member of the China-Europe Business School Alliance and the Belt and Road International Scientific Organization Alliance, and the first AACSB-accredited university in Macau.
Formerly known as the University of East Asia, founded on March 28, 1981, UM was renamed the University of Macau in 1991 and moved to a new campus on Hengqin Island in August 2014.
UM has 10 colleges with approximately 130+ degree programs; 10,414 students, including 7,141 undergraduate students and 3,273 graduate students. Read More.
