About Zhejiang University City College
Zhejiang University City College, established in July 1999, is a new type of general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, and co-sponsored by Zhejiang University and Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and co-sponsored by Zhejiang Post and Telecommunications Administration (now Zhejiang Telecom Industrial Group).
Located in Gongshu District, Hangzhou, the university covers an area of more than 1,000 acres with a campus area of more than 400,000 square meters. It has 9 colleges and offers 40 undergraduate majors. There is one Sino-foreign cooperative school with the University of Waikato in New Zealand, one international cooperative school project and eight international course cooperation projects.
