Introduction to School of Foreign Languages, Jiangsu Ocean University

Founded in 1985, the School of Foreign Languages at Jiangsu Ocean University focuses on foreign language education, culture, and translation, with a connection to marine-related studies.

It has a high-quality faculty of 98 staff, including 88 full-time teachers. Among them, there are 5 professors, 23 associate professors, and 11 master’s supervisors; 27 teachers hold doctoral degrees (with 2 postdoctoral fellows), accounting for over one-third of the full-time team. 81.5% of the faculty have overseas experience (in Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, Russia, etc.), and the school annually employs 8-10 international experts from these regions.

The school comprises four language departments (English, Japanese, Korean, Russian) and two College English teaching divisions, providing solid support for both specialized language learning and general English education.

Job Description

1. Full-time Teaching position. Teach Conversational English, English Writing, Western Culture, Business English courses to university students
2. Workload: 18 teaching hours per week. Office hours is not required. (1 teaching hour = 45 minutes)
3. The contract will be for a period of 12 months.
