哈萨克语专业介绍 Introduction to the Kazakh major
The Kazakh major of Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) was established in March 2017, which is subordinate to the School of Russian East Europe and Central Asia. The program is dedicated to cultivating outstanding foreign language talents who can serve the construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative and the multi-disciplinary exchanges and cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the new era.
The program is based on the current situation of Kazakhstan and its language and culture, and majors in Kazakh and minors in English. In the third year of the program, students can go to Kazakhstan for one year of further study. By the time of graduation, the level of the Kazakh language is at least C1 of the European Union Framework of Reference.
