About Henan University
Henan University, abbreviated as HENU, is a provincial and ministerial university jointly built by the People’s Government of Henan Province and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, and is one of the first national universities to be built as a “double first-class” world-class academic institution.
HENU was founded in 1912. At present, the university has three campuses in Kaifeng Minglun, Jinming and Zhengzhou Longzi Lake, with a construction area of 1.47 million square meters.
HENU has 37 faculties (teaching and research departments) and 98 undergraduate majors; 19 post-doctoral research stations, 20 first-level discipline doctoral programs, 43 first-level discipline master’s programs and 27 master’s degree authorization categories.
The university has more than 4,400 faculty and staff, and nearly 50,000 full-time students, including 11,000 graduate students and more than 800 international students. Read More.
