About Yantai University
Yantai University is located in Yantai City, Shandong Province, and is a key comprehensive university in Shandong Province. YTU is the closest coastal university to the sea and has the longest coastline in China.
YTU was founded in July 1984. The university now has 22 colleges (departments), 65 research institutes and 66 undergraduate majors, covering 10 disciplines including arts, science, engineering, law, agriculture, medicine, economics, management, education and art.
There are more than 29,000 undergraduates, postgraduates and international students enrolled in the university, and the undergraduate students come from 31 provinces (cities and districts) across China.
