Sun Yat-sen University, founded in 1924, is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, directly under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
It is among the first batch of universities to be constructed under the “Double First Class”, “985 Project” and “211 Project” of China.
